
Variety: 100% Rhine Riesling. Off-dry white wine, 12% vol. alcohol, 31 g/l sugar. Limited edition of 2,600 bottles. After direct pressing, the must rested about 72 hours for clarification before being racked and fermented in stainless-steel tanks without selected yeasts. A very long but easily managed fermentation — more than 10 weeks — helped us create a very complex and deep off-dry Riesling with sustained acidity and great ageing potential. Don't be put off by the term "off-dry" — this is a classic Riesling with residual sugar, not at all heavy. It is and always will be a reliable partner for many occasions and dishes. Give it an hour in a carafe, chilled, before serving, as it is still young.
