Melinis Vișine – Salcâm cu Vișine artizanal 250g

Sour cherries have a tart, intense flavour with the kind of depth that naturally balances sweetness. We spent a long time looking for a recipe that would respect their character without turning them into something else. We chose acacia honey precisely for its discretion and worked at the balance until the tartness and the sweetness began to support each other rather than cancel out. Made at under 38 °C with no boiling. The sour cherries are used raw and folded pitted straight into the raw honey. The texture is balanced with well-integrated fruit, and the ruby colour comes naturally from ripe cherries. Delicious on bread or toast, in plain or Greek yoghurt, over crêpes, semolina or porridge, alongside cheeses, or straight from the jar. Loved by children for its sweet-tart taste. Ingredients: Romanian acacia honey (min. 70%), raw sour cherries (30%). Caution: may contain stones.
