Zacuscă cu Trufe

On the same latitude as Italian Piemonte, with a kind climate and deep forests, Buzău county offers ideal conditions for our local black gold — truffles. To them we add a basket of autumn vegetables that smell of woodsmoke and the cauldron in which the zacuscă slowly takes shape. We believe we've sealed inside this one jar everything that's most precious about Buzău — plus our savoir-faire. Ingredients: aubergine, sweet bell pepper, onion, tomato juice, vegetable oil, garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaves, truffle oil, truffles. Serving suggestion: an exceptional preparation. Bake small filo cups in a muffin tin (six filo squares of 10 × 10 cm, each brushed with melted butter and layered as a star, baked at 200 °C until golden, 5–6 minutes). Serve the zacuscă spooned into these cups on a platter, alongside slices of country bread. Natural product, no preservatives. 106 ml.
