The roots of this ancient variety can be traced in our region for over 2,000 years. Yet until 2003 Crâmpoșie was regarded as just another simple peasant grape, with no real potential to become a noble wine. Over its long history it has adapted perfectly to the local terroir of Drăgășani, today giving a dry, fresh and mineral white wine.
