
From soft yellows to deeply vital tones, quinces are a delight for the palate and a real source of minerals for the body. For Melinis Gutui we use the Bereczki variety — sweet, gently tart — grown along the Nișcov river and by other small producers in the Buzău region. For a flavour all its own we added a touch of geranium (Drusaim) leaf juice. Quinces are among the most fragrant fruits and bring generous amounts of vitamins A, B and C, fibre, and minerals such as potassium, selenium, zinc, calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium. Ingredients: Romanian acacia honey (min. 60%), raw quinces (min. 30%), lemon juice, geranium leaf juice.
