Mirela worked for over 15 years as a technologist in the dairy industry. In 2013 she and her husband bought land in the village of Pleșești, Podgoria commune — and the dream of a dairy turned into something else: a small plantation of lavender, goji, raspberries and blackberries. From the garden come jams, zacuscă, syrups and pickles made by hand in small batches under the Bunătăți din Pleșești brand. At the conac you'll find them in the shop and, now and then, on the lunch table.
