In 1994, Corsican count Guy Tyrel de Poix chose Ceptura, in Dealu Mare, to do what nobody had done before: open Romania's first private winery after 1989. Together with his wife Mihaela, he started the revival of the whole wine region from here. Today SERVE works 66 hectares and makes around 500,000 bottles a year, with Fetească Neagră at the heart of the story. The Cuvée, Terra Romana, Vinul Cavalerului and RE:Vivre ranges have collected over 250 international awards in the last decade alone. At the conac, SERVE wines accompany the Farm-to-Table menu and sit by the bottle in our shop.
